AGNI – Skill for School
AGNI is an initiative of Skills India Foundation to promote and implement vocational education among school students. Moreover AGNI will provide
supplementary education to under privilege children’s on English, Mathematics, Science, computers, robotics, mentoring, arts, sports and life skills support.
The idea is to teach skill development courses at school level in the secondary stage of schooling. The pedagogy will be practical, field visits to enhance learning,
e-learning, industry driven projects, digital or video inputs and so on. For instance if a student opts for healthcare , he could learn to be a blood-collection expert
and later can add further courses to become full-fledged pathology technician or nurse. Same way if a student opts for motor repair as a skill development course while in
school, at a later stage, he can opt for a diploma or degree in automobile engineering. To make India the skill capital of the world, the school curricula will have to go through
a dynamic change for which AGNI project will carry out policy level advocacy work to enhance and strengthening existing school curriculum with skill based approach.
We organize job fair in common place like a huge auditorium or a ground to hire people for multiple organizations.
Through this concept targeted youth can meet multiple employers at one single place. It is a concept which is a big time saver for both job seekers and the employers.
Mostly job fairs are conducted for middle level jobs either for fresher or for minimum two years of experience.
