Project SMILE is an initiative of Skills India Foundation to create a possible self employment and entrepreneurship. The aim of this project is to nurture the young talent to become entrepreneurs and self employed.
Advice and guidance provided to entrepreneurs to stimulate local economic development with emphasis on reduction of poverty and unemployment.
Since our economy majorly depend on agriculture and agri allied activities “SMILE” project has adopted a quite precise modus operation for implementing the self employment model to give a major fillip to rural artisan communities
who are aged between 18-40 years. This programme focuses majorly on skill trainings in
• Agriculture and allied sectors
• Articrafts, etc
This project further supports the Entrepreneurship Skill Development
that provides various opportunities to the trained youth to take up self employment as a means of livelihood.
